Please read and follow these rules before joining the city. By playing on our server, you agree to these guidelines.

📝 Whitelist / Citizen Application Rules

If you're applying for whitelist, make sure you follow these requirements:

Age Requirement

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Application Format

  • Fill out all required fields completely.
  • Provide truthful and accurate info. False info = instant disqualification.

Roleplay Experience

  • Show that you have prior RP experience (examples from other servers or scenarios).
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of RP concepts.

Character Backstory

  • Submit an original character with a detailed backstory.
  • No using characters from other games, shows, or movies.
  • Must be realistic and fit within GTA RP.

Server Rules Acknowledgment

  • Applicants must agree to follow all server rules.

Quality of Writing

  • Use proper grammar and spelling.
  • Show effort and detail — rushed or low-effort apps won't be considered.

Respect & Attitude

  • Keep a respectful and positive attitude during the process.
  • Be patient — don't spam staff about your application status.

Additional Requirements

  • Be ready for a possible voice interview.
  • Include your expected level of activity on the server.

Disqualification Criteria

  • Past bans or serious violations on other servers may lead to denial.
  • Missing required info = automatic rejection.

🏙️ In-City Rules

General Principles

"Everyone makes mistakes, how you handle them matters most."

"Transparency builds trust; we want members to feel safe reporting concerns".

"The goal isn't punishment, it's to make sure our community thrives."

No FailRP

No role-playing failures allowed (e.g., no random deaths).

Combat Rules

  • 🔫 No RDM (Random Death Match): No random killing without RP justification.
  • 🚗 No VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch): No random vehicle collisions or crashes.
  • 🚫 No Griefing: No trolling, harassment, or disruptive behavior.

Roleplay Integrity

  • 🎭 Role-Play at All Times: Players must remain in character. OOC chat is only for designated channels.
  • 📖 No Metagaming: Do not use OOC knowledge to gain an advantage.
  • ⚠️ No Powergaming: No unrealistic or exaggerated actions.
  • 🔊 Voice Chat: Required for immersive RP.
  • 😨 Fear RP: Characters must realistically fear for their lives in dangerous situations.

Server Conduct

  • 🤝 Respect Others: Be respectful and considerate of other players and their RP.
  • 🛑 No Toxicity: Racism, sexism, or hateful speech will not be tolerated.
  • ⚠️ If another citizen is uncomfortable with something you say, stop immediately.
  • 🚫 No form of sexual harassment will be tolerated. Any inappropriate behavior, comments, or actions will result in immediate consequences. Everyone has the right to feel safe and respected. (see Flirting vs Sexual Harassment for details)
  • 📢 In-Character Communication: All communication should be IC via voice chat.
  • 🔇 No Mic Spamming: Avoid loud noises or disruptive chatter.

Save Zones & Limits

  • 🛑 Safe Zones: No PvP combat in designated safe areas.
  • 👥 Maximum Players: Respect server limits on player counts.

Authority & Economy

  • 🚓 No Abuse of Power: LEOs and authorities must not abuse power or break character.
  • 💰 Respect Server Economy: Do not exploit bugs or actions that disrupt economic balance.
  • 🚑 Emergency Services Respect: Treat EMS, police, and fire RP seriously; don't hinder duties without a valid IC reason.

Ex. Do not steal Ambulances.

Cheating & Exploits

❌ No Cheating/Hacking: Exploiting mechanics or using hacks is strictly prohibited.

Events & Reports

  • 🎉 Event Participation: Follow rules for server-wide events set by organizers.
  • 📡 Player Reports: Use proper channels for reporting violations instead of disrupting RP with OOC complaints. (See How to Report Players for details & Handling Issues with other Players ( & Staff ).

💬 Flirting vs Sexual Harassment

Flirting in RP: Light, playful, consensual interaction is fine if both parties are comfortable.

Sexual Harassment: Unwanted advances, pressure, explicit language without consent, or continuing after someone has said no.

Zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment. If someone says they're uncomfortable, stop immediately.

Handling Issues with other Players (& Staff)

If you have an issue with another player or staff member:

  • 📋 Document the incident (screenshots, video, etc.)
  • 🎫 Create a ticket in Discord
  • 💬 Communicate calmly and respectfully
  • ⏰ Allow time for staff to investigate
  • 🚫 Do not bring drama into public chats

🛡️ How to Report Players

To report a rule violation:

  1. Gather evidence (clips, screenshots)
  2. Open a ticket in Discord
  3. Provide player name, date/time, and description
  4. Include all relevant evidence
  5. Staff will review and respond within 24-48 hours

⚖️ Warning & Disciplinary System

Our goal is education first, punishment second. We believe in giving players a chance to learn and improve.

Warning Levels

Used for: Minor first-time offenses or misunderstandings.

Process: Staff explains what went wrong and how to fix it.

Result: No formal record unless behavior repeats.

Used for: Repeated minor offenses or more serious rule breaks.

Process: Logged officially in the staff system with notes.

Result: Counted toward disciplinary escalation.

Used for: Continuous issues after prior warnings or serious misconduct.

Process: Meeting with staff to review behavior and expectations.

Result: Any further violation may result in a suspension or ban.

Used for: Severe or repeated violations.

Duration: Typically 3–30 days depending on severity.

Result: Player may return under probation.

Used for: Extreme misconduct, threats, sexual harassment, doxxing, or any action that puts others at risk.

Duration: Indefinite.

Result: Access revoked from all community spaces (server, Discord, etc.).

Appealing a Warning

Appeals must be respectful and based on facts, not emotion.

Submit an appeal through the proper channel (e.g., Discord ticket).

Staff will review all sides before deciding.

Repeat or frivolous appeals may result in loss of appeal privileges.

Staff Accountability

All staff actions are logged and reviewed regularly to ensure fairness. If a staff member is found to misuse power, show bias, or harass players:

The incident should be reported to Server Owners directly.

Owners will investigate privately.

Staff who break policy may face demotion or removal.

🔫 Gang / Organization Rules

Gang / Organization rules are coming soon. Our team is working on a clear structure for:

  • Gang creation & approval
  • Territory & conflict guidelines
  • War / hostility rules
  • Police & civilian interaction standards
  • Staff expectations for gang-related RP

Until this section is finalized, all gangs and organizations must follow the existing In-City Rules, Server Conduct, and Warning & Disciplinary System.

General Behavior

  • 🤝 Respect Everyone: No harassment, discrimination, or hate speech.
  • 🚫 No Spamming: Avoid repetitive or irrelevant messages/links.
  • 📢 Use Appropriate Channels: Keep discussions organized.
  • 🎮 Follow Roleplay Guidelines: Don't break character without valid reason.
  • 🚫 No Griefing: Don't intentionally disrupt others' experiences.
  • 📡 No Self-Promotion: Don't advertise content or servers without permission.
  • 👥 No Impersonation: Don't impersonate others, staff, or public figures.
  • 🔒 Privacy Respect: Don't share personal information.
  • 🚫 No Illegal Activities: Strictly prohibited.
  • 🌐 English Only: Keep all communication readable.

Content Rules

  • 🚫 No NSFW Content: Explicit or inappropriate material is forbidden.
  • 📜 Follow Discord's Terms of Service at all times.
  • 🗣️ Language: Avoid excessive swearing or offensive language.

Voice & Bots

  • 🎤 Voice Channels: No mic spam, loud noises, or disruptive behavior.
  • 🤖 Bot Usage: Use responsibly and follow bot command rules.

Community Atmosphere

  • 😊 Keep It Friendly: No toxicity or arguments.
  • 🎉 Event Participation: Attend events you sign up for, or notify staff if you can't.
  • 🎯 Have Fun: The goal is to enjoy and support the community.
